For a very long time, I thought that yoga & stretching was something I’d do after a workout or whenever I have time. I always felt that if I took a Yin class instead of a boxing class, it would be a waste of time. Slowly I’ve been learning that our bodies don’t need intense workouts and stress everyday. In fact our body needs and craves low-impact workouts and stretching. Our body needs a break and needs help restoring and building and fueling our muscles. Today I made the decision to skip the gym and stretch it out. What the f*ck am I supposed to eat and do to be healthy and live my healthiest life?! Am I the only person who is trying to stay away from the fads and bullsh*t studies to find out the honest truth? If you’re with me sayyy 🙋🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ I’m hoping to find the true answer and I’m stepping away from magazines and flashy “studies” to find the answer in books. Books written by people who truly understand and have tested on themselves. People who have spent their own time and money on studying human health without the sponsorship from major brands and associations hoping to promote their products. Through my own research, testing and blogging I’m hoping to share it all with you. No bullsh*t. I promise.
